Synopsis: Adelina Tattilo is Mrs. Playmen, editor of Italy's first erotic magazine and a groundbreaking force in the conservative and judgmental Rome of the 1970s. A pioneering entrepreneur at a time when women were confined to the role of mothers and housewives, she is a dedicated Catholic but also a daring nonconformist, at the forefront of the battles for divorce, abortion rights, and female empowerment. When her husband, Saro Balsamo, abandons her, leaving her alone to face creditors as the only owner of an empire on the verge of collapse, Adelina does not give up. She reinvents Playmen, transforming it into a sophisticated, cutting-edge publication and, challenging the deep-rooted masculinity of the time, gathers around her a team of brilliant intellectuals, daring creatives, and visionary photographers. Together, they overthrow taboos, provoke the establishment, and spark a cultural revolution, issue after issue, scandal after scandal.
